Te Aroha is a town in New Zealand in the eastern Waikato. Hemmed in on the East side by the Kaimai mountain range. To the south is Matamata and to the north is Paeroa. Overlooked by Mount Te Aroha the town has a small but thriving tourism trade. Tourists often visit the mineral pools and hot soda springs at the Wyborn Mineral pools. Popular activities include cycling, canoeing and just tramping around the forest.
